2 down for sisters on actual day

2 of my sisters down (Fion and Dawn) on my actual day. Reason: They need to go school that day... I had totally forgotten that they are still student! Haha..

Anyway, I will still do with it with my 4 other sisters... as much as I dun like "4" to appear in my wedding, I was left with no choice because it's too last minute to get any new replacement...

Anyway I'm really blur... haha... How can I forgot it's a Friday and they are schooling... haiz...

Bought all the things needed for guo da li on Christmas Day

Finally my hubby and I had bought all the things needed for our Guo Da Li.. we went to a shop at Jurong West (Recommended by my best buddy -- Ing).. The lady in the shop is very good.. She helps to pack everything and advises us what to do with each things.. We went with a "zero idea on what to buy and do" and came out from her shop on "80%" idea on what to do and buy... She is really FANTASTIC.. and oh ya.. She had a very cute puppy called Coco... Really super adorable.. :)

After buying the things, we went up to my Grandma house to put my side's thing, coz the lady say cannot bring to other place to put.. That is the first time my hubby's parents went up to visit my Grandma.. My Grandma told me that she had also went around Bukit Timah to search for my wedding things... haha... luckily we never buy duplicate.. if not really waste of money...

Amount of Money i spent on Jurong West Wedding Shop:

Bride's side preparation: around SGD 240

Groom's side preparation + an chuang things: around SGD 80

Total: around SGD 320+

After leaving my grandma house, we went to Sheng Shiong and bought 12 cans of "pig leg".. very expensive... each is around SGD 4 .. after buying, we went to my hubby's parents house to do some preparation..

What we do at hubby's parents house:

1. Paste the "shuang xi" sticker on 2 Martell, 12 cans of "pig leg"
   
2. Put aside things needed for An Chuang and guo da li...

It's 24 more days to my wedding preparation... I starts to get worried, and worried and worried'!
Look, these are the things I HAVE TO settle by this week:-----

1. guo da li items (for both my side my and hubby side)
2. dowry...
3. mail out those invitation cards needs to be mailed oversea..

MUST at least settled these by end of this week...

Finally changed my Evening Gown

I had finally changed my evening gown... but i topped up $200 for this change...

Even though its expensive, but it's worth it.. I had changed to something that I love fanatically!! IF i were to wear this for my photo shoot, it would have been perfect..

But it's ok.. i console myself by saying "heng i never get this in the first place..." if not, I would not only pay $2000 for the photo top up... that will be more..

Finally one issue settled.. huh? u wan to see my new evening gown?? No... wait till after my wedding dinner photos are out... :)

I'm meeting my PG/VG next Sunday... I have to rush on my songs selection!!

Meet up with Hotel planner - Huiling

We had met up with Huiling on Wed night at around 7pm at the hotel lobby. We had a short discussion (less than an hour) on my wedding day events. Following are what we had concluded that day:

1. Number of tables: tentatively confirm at 33 table..
2. Door Gifts : 2 different sets of door gifts...
3. Ballroom Decor: Will be using red roses throughout... She gives us a choice of Crystal, but i think the Crystal decor look like Christmas trees..
4. First Dish Presentation: I told her I wanted to use my own music, but I'm going to listen to the hotel's music and decide again..
5. AD Programme: She gave us a short briefing of what will happen on the AD. I'm beginning to feel the excitement...
6. Alot of other minor issues like how we want the tables to be arranged, how we want the drinks to be served, how champange pouring and cake cutting to be done etc.. etc... etc...

It's drawing nearer and nearer, and I am getting more and more excited...

Completion!

Finally, I had completed all my wedding invitations.. All done, all written... some wasted cards... but its DONE!!!

This I call Satisfaction....

BuSy wEeKeNds...

I spend my long weekend distributing my wedding cards for my hubby's family... very tired.. i travel to places like Woodlands (4 stops i think), yishun (3 stops), bedok (one stop), Tampines (3 stops)... and many many many more places... :(

Finally, on Monday night, we had finish distributing all the cards.. Now left with only our colleagues/friends and my relatives... I'm still waiting for my grandma to confirm the number of guest from her side. Most probably my next weekend will be spent at her home..

I guess all the things are in orders now.. Things we had settled this weekend:

1. His side's relatives invitation cards (all given!!!)
2. Wedding Helpers gift (xiong dis only)

We will be meeting our Wedding Planner (Hotel) tomorrow. Still undecided on the layout of my ballroom...

Things still left undone....

There are still so many things that are STILL UNDONE till date, and the days are drawing nearer...

1. AD schedule.... who should be doing what and where we are going.....

2. Dress code for sisters...

3. Dress code for brothers...

4. Sisters and Bros "Thank you" gifts..

5. My bedsheet, things to be used and NEEDED on AD..

6. my invitation card... this is my nightmare!!!!

7. Hotel reservation for my oversea guest...

and i think there are many many many many many many many more..... and yah!!! my songs for my montage and my photos to be submitted to my PG... i bet he give up on me ler...

If you are getting married and is in a lost, PLEASE get a wedding planner... their service will cost you not more than SGD 1000 and EVERYTHING can be settled without hassle... anyway, at this moment, i still have to say........

Wedding is ultra tiring, but HAPPIEEee!:)

This is a marble cake + some other puffs and tarts... This box after discount cost me around $13 per box... I had ordered a total of 26 boxes nia...~

My EG... I had a hard time convincing myself to take this.. (look at my stupid face...) SBW had very limited selections on EG..

Shortlisting our honeymoon country....

I had not done anything for wedding preparation since my last post here (and I forgot to take the photos on my tea set again.... :( )

We went to book a genting trip last Sat.. travelling date will be the next day after our wedding.. As for honeymoon... we still deciding where to go.. we had decided to drop Europe because of the "full house" Man U VS Liverpool tix.. he wanted to watch the Mancity one... but I am not interested.. Times are bad.. dun waste money to go so far to watch a match that is not going to shiok me...

Our next on list country is Australia (Melbourne).. Hope this time round we can confirm.. If everything is confirm, we will be packing our bags in Mar'09...

57 more days to my wedding....

Forgot to take the photo for my tea set again....

Yesterday did a check on my Honeymoon package to Manchester.. The Man U tickets are fully sold out. I need to be a member before I can purchase the tickets.. Hope that I can get it done soon, if not my hubby and I will be very sad.. He wanted to catch the match on the one with middlesbrough.. But i prefer the one with liverpool......

mY wedding preparation - 58 more days

58 more days to my wedding.... What had I prepared so far?

1. I had bought the tea-set for my "jing cha"... will take photo and post it here tomorrow...
2. I had got all my invitation cards... but my invitation list is still in a mess... :(
3. I had done my PS, and had already chosen 68pcs of my photos.... now waiting for the layout which will be shown to me end of this month....
4. Already decided on my jiemeis... and my HTB is still deciding on his xiong dis..
5. Will be going to choose our wedding cakes this coming Sat...
6. Had already went for food tasting... send some feedback to Huiling... still waiting for her reply...
